BaseNet offers a unique email management feature where all your incoming/outgoing emails are stored entirely within the system itself compared to most if not all similarly designed legal software practices (No need for the Microsoft Outlook plugin). For this reason, the ‘’side-by-side’’ design of the BaseNet user interface is configured to deliver the flexibility to file your emails against a matter file with ease. Emails are stored automatically and linked to relations to ensure quick retrieval later with just a few clicks.
The stop watch feature also keeps track of how much time is spent on an email, so that time can be directly written (and possibly corrected) to a matter. The system can also automatically recognize response emails from clients allowing you to place them in the matter file at the touch of a button but also prevent emails from being duplicated.

Furthermore, you can assign tasks to other users, set deadlines and view incomplete and overdue tasks. The mobile app can also be used for extra security when logging in to BaseNet (two-way authentication).
